Pulse Survey - Global Short-Term Assignments (<1 year)

This survey will examine temporary relocation assignments to a foreign country that are shorter than one year in duration. While there are many terms used to describe this type of assignment among organizations, they will be referred to in this report as global short-term assignments (GSTAs).

The survey’s goal is to identify the level of support offered to global short-term assignees and the reasons for the temporary assignment.

This is the second Aires Pulse Survey on GSTAs, with a previous report released in 2017. Additionally, the Aires Pulse Survey –Domestic Short-Term Assignments (<1 year) was released in June 2023. Throughout this report, comparative data from the previous surveys will be provided to highlight consistencies and changing trends.
