Pulse Survey - Domestic Short-Term Assignments (<1 year)
Rather than initiating a permanent move, companies sometimes temporarily move an employee to a new location. This survey will examine temporary relocation assignments within the U.S. that are shorter than one year in duration. While there are many different terms used to describe this type of assignment among organizations, they will be referred to in this report as domestic short-term assignments (DSTAs).
The survey’s goal is to identify the level of support offered to domestic short-term assignees and the reasons employees are assigned temporarily.
This is the third Aires Pulse Survey on DSTAs, with previous reports released in 2017 and 2012. Throughout this report, comparative data from the previous years will be provided to highlight consistencies and changing trends.
