Pulse Survey

Competing for and attracting interns has led to many companies expanding their intern recruiting efforts cross-country and even across borders. This has led to the need to provide relocation support to interns. While an intern may cost less to relocate than most other types of employees, that does not minimize the investment that companies make in their interns. It is important for companies to know what makes a competitive intern relocation package.

Previous iterations of Aires’ intern relocation research have highlighted the prevalence of cash allowances and housing support among interns. This edition of the intern relocation benchmarking is no different. The data outlined in this report highlights the types of support provided to interns and the expenses paid by surveyed employers. The survey is divided into data for U.S. domestic interns and international interns.
