The research associated with the 2024 Global Transfer Trends Report captures current benchmark data, highlighting best practices of companies that relocate employees permanently or indefinitely across borders. Global transfers include any current or newly hired employees who are relocated from one country to another. A global transfer may also be referred to as an international relocation, permanent transfer, one-way move, local hire, local plus assignment, or by some other qualifier.
