  1. Upon entering on PBH visa
  2. Upon receipt of the DEW or Work Permit. The DEW and Work Pemit processes provide temporary/interim validity while the long-term Blue Card or TRP process is pending.

Proceedings might be expedited due to serious personal reasons, if those can be properly proved. This can help in arranging residence card collection slot. No extra fees are required.

What documents are required from the employee for Blue Card application?
  1. Passport
  2. Four passport photos
  3. Employment contract
  4. Proof of accommodation in Poland
  5. Tax documents (PIT declaration, Certificate of no tax obligation)
  6. University degrees
  7. References of professional experience
  8. Notification of termination of previous work (if applicable)
  9. Any current Polish immigration documents (if applicable, i.e. change of status, etc.)
Will documents require translation, apostilles, and/or legalization?
  1. All documents made in a foreign language additionally require certified translation into Polish
  2. Some documents may need apostille / legalization depending on the issuing country
What is the requirement for the application location?
  1. Presence inside of Poland is strictly required on the day of the residence application
  2. Residence application is submitted accordingly with applicant’s current place of living in Poland. Foreign national must apply accordingly to its residence place in Poland.
Is set-up/sponsorship registration needed for transferees by their employers?
No, there is no pure sponsorship needed, but for the residence permit processing, some documents must be provided by the employer too

When do I renew my work visa?
If one stays in Poland, there is no process of renewing visa. Further right to stay is granted upon submission of residence permit application.
Can dependents work under the immigration process? If so, do they have limitations and requirements to do so?
  1. Spouses- depends on residence permit type
  2. Partners- no
  3. Children- depends on the residence permit type

In any case if one holds residence permit, work is possible on the basis of a separate work permit.

No, they are not recognized as legal dependents, but they can still receive residence permit together with principal.

Yes, certain work and residence permit types must be canceled prior to final departure.
